What Is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a very popular treatment for straightening teeth using clear aligners. These aligners allow the dentist to make slight adjustments to the level of movement as the treatment progresses, as they are replaced every two weeks.
Invisalign can be used to treat:
- Crooked teeth
- Crowded teeth
- Misaligned teeth
- Gappy teeth
- An over bite – this is when the upper teeth protrude
- An under bite – this is when the lower teeth overlap the upper teeth
- An open bite – this is when the upper and lower teeth do not meet and are forces outward
- A cross bite – this is when the upper teeth bite on the inside of the lower teeth
Your aligners would be changed roughly every two weeks, until the desired result is obtained, and would look like this:
